How the 3-day free trial works
Today
Your trial starts. Nothing is charged today.
Day 2
If you allow notifications, Mealnomics reminds you that the trial ends tomorrow.
Day 3
The trial ends. The first charge is $39.99 for one year, then it renews every year.
To avoid the first charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. In the app, Settings, then Cancel subscription opens your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
Questions about the trial, billing and canceling
How does the 3-day free trial work?
The free trial comes with the annual plan. When you start it, nothing is charged. If you don’t cancel, the App Store or Google Play charges $39.99 for the first year when the 3 days are over ($3.33 a month, billed once a year). The monthly plan has no free trial.
When do I need to cancel to avoid being charged?
Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You keep access until the trial ends and you aren’t charged.
Will Mealnomics remind me before the trial ends?
Yes, if you allow notifications. The app schedules a reminder when your trial starts and sends it the day before the trial ends: “Your Mealnomics trial ends tomorrow. Cancel anytime in Settings.” If notifications are off, no reminder is sent, so note the first-charge date shown before you start the trial.
How do I cancel?
In the app, open Settings and tap Cancel subscription. It opens your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, where you cancel.
You can also cancel without opening the app: see Apple’s steps or Google Play’s steps. Apple and Google handle the billing, so cancellations happen in their subscription settings.
Can I get a refund?
Apple or Google refunds the purchase under their own policies; Mealnomics doesn’t process those refunds. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or read Google Play’s refund policy. Not sure where to start? Email [email protected].
Can I subscribe on this website?
No. You subscribe inside the app, and payment goes through the App Store or Google Play. This website doesn’t take payments.
I reinstalled the app or got a new phone. How do I get my subscription back?
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google account that bought the subscription.
Does one subscription cover my family?
Yes. One subscription covers your household on up to 3 devices, with a shared plan and shopping list.
How do I delete my account?
Use the delete account page. We delete your household data within 30 days of your request. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel that first in the App Store or Google Play.
